Coach Fifield returns to CSU men’s lacrosse as the Head Coach after a successful 2016 season. The Rams finished Fifield’s inaugural season with a 10-5 record and a return to the MCLA National Championships. With Fifield acting as both head coach and defensive coordinator, the team boasted a top-5 defense, 7 MCLA All Americans, 12 RMLC All Conference Team Players, 4 MCLA Scholar Athletes, and the RMLC Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He will look to build upon 2016’s success with an even stronger season in 2017.

Fifield initially came to CSU following a five years of coaching at the MCLA, high school, and youth levels of lacrosse. He is a native of North Babylon, NY and attended Chaminade High School on Long Island. Fifield participated on two NSCHSAA Championship winning teams during his time at Chaminade before deciding to attend Sacred Heart University for his undergraduate studies. Fifield seized an opportunity to grow the game at Sacred Heart and established the men’s club lacrosse program in 2007. He served as both president and captain from 2007-2010, leading the team to a NY Metro Division title and an appearance in the Elite Eight of the NCLL DII National Championships in 2010. Fifield then moved west to attend the University of Denver, where he earned his Masters degree in Sport & Performance Psychology. He immediately put those skills to use as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. After earning his graduate degree, Fifield moved to Madison, WI where he became the defensive coordinator for the University of Wisconsin’s MCLA team from 2012 to 2014. He helped lead the Badgers to the GRLC regular season title in 2013. During his time with the Badgers, Coach Fifield helped develop five GRLC/UMLC All-Conference defensive players, including the 2013 GRLC Defensive Player of the Year.



John Belleau joins the CSU men’s lacrosse team after six years coaching at Windsor High School. Belleau is a native of Fort Collins, where he attended Poudre High school and played for the Fort Collins Vipers. He was named an All Conference defenseman in 2004 & 2005 before continuing his playing career at NCAA DIII Ohio Wesleyan University. Belleau helped OWU earn the NCAC Conference Championship in 2007. Belleau returned home after graduating from college in 2009 and immediately began his coaching career with Fort Collins Unified. He spent two seasons as the Assistant Head Coach with FCU, helping the team to state quarterfinals appearances in 2010 & 2011. Belleau began coaching at Windsor High School in the fall of 2011, becoming the head coach of the program in 2012. He led the program to its first ever appearance in the state tournament in spring 2013. The team earned berths in the state tournament every year of Belleau’s tenure as head coach, including an appearance as the 4-seed in 2016 CHSAA 4A Boys Lacrosse Championship. His additional coaching stops include Windsor Copperheads Youth, Rams Lacrosse Club, Frontier Starz, and 3d Select. Coach Belleau will join the CSU men’s lacrosse team as the Defensive Coordinator for the 2016-17 season.



Coach DiProfio comes to the Rams Family from sunny San Diego, CA. Over the last decade, Coach DiProfio has coached at the collegiate, high school, and youth level. He began playing lacrosse in San Diego, where in high school he won a Division 2 Championship, appeared in a State Championship, and was named, to the All-County Team. DiProfio later attended fellow MCLA rival Chico State University, where he helped the Wildcats obtain their first and only MCLA National Championship Tournament appearance. After graduating from Chico State, DiProfio enlisted in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer serving tours in South Korea and Afghanistan. He also began to coach around the nation from summer camps at the Naval Academy to high school programs in Texas and California. In 2015, as an assistant coach, DiProfio helped lead San Diego State University to their first MCLA National Championship Tournament appearance. Currently, Coach DiProfio has obtained a Masters degree in Adult Education and Training and is working on a Doctorate in Education. Coach DiProfio will join the CSU men’s lacrosse team as the Offensive Coordinator for the 2017 season.



Dan Caddoo comes to the CSU men’s lacrosse after concluding his college playing career at NCAA DII Colorado Mesa University. Caddoo is a native of Fort Collins, where he attended Fort Collins High School and played for the Fort Collins Vipers. He was twice named to the All Front Range League Team before continuing his playing career at Colorado Mesa University. At CMU he helped the team win three conference championships (2013, 2014, 2016). Caddoo was named to the WILA All Conference Teams in 2013 & 2015, and was named to the RMAC Preseason All Conference Team in 2016. Caddoo’s coaching experiences includes stops with LXTC and Wild Lacrosse. Coach Caddoo will join the CSU men’s lacrosse team as an Assistant Coach.
